Andy Taylor - Chair
Having completed a D.Phil at Sussex University in Neutron Physics, Andy arrived in Basingstoke with his young family in 1978 to work as a Development Engineer with Vickers Medical. Andy met his wife Diane whilst they were both undergraduates at Sussex. They married and produced two lovely children, Barney & Pippa whilst Andy undertook his research degree, living in Brighton a total of 8 years. Once in Basingstoke, they expected to stay here for no more than 2 years!. Andy has been a leader within Basingstoke Community Churches since 1980, joining to the full-time staff as Church Administrator 1989. He has led several of the BCCs congregations but he presently spends most of his time developing projects with churches across the town to serve the community. Diane is currently a borough councillor. Andy has a passion for local church unity, seeing a transformation in our community, India and Chelsea Football Team!.
Bob Smith - Team Member
Bob is the Pastor of Wessex Christian Fellowship and has lived in Basingstoke for 33 years. He is married to Sally with four children and three grandchildren. He likes diving and riding his Harley Davidson motorbike. Bob has a passion to see God move in Basingstoke and loves working across the churches to bring people together and his quiet shy character (!) helps him in this work! Bob is in the process of moving the church’s building to a new location in Rooksdown and believing the project will be completed in mid 2011.

We go to St Mark’s Church, Kempshott and have been there
for about 7 years, before that we ‘church hopped’ around Basingstoke. I have
had various roles within the church:- PCC, Deanery Synod, Youth Group, Sunday
Children, CRB co-ordinator. I have just been accepted for Reader Training in
the Church of England, so do some preaching, leading and am involved in family
services. Currently, I am a Street Pastor and a member of the Basingstoke Town
