Christians and churches are involved in many different ways in giving practical help and support within the local community, expressing God's love to people. Hundreds of people volunteer their time, energy, and skills, week in, week out, in numerous projects and activities in the different churches across Basingstoke. Mother and toddler groups. Youth clubs. Groups for the elderly. And much more. Besides this work, there are several inter-church groups and projects in Basingstoke, where Christians from different churches in the town work together. The Starfish Enterprise

The Starfish
Enterprise is an arm of ABC and is a charity set up to assist members of
churches in the Basingstoke area to develop appropriate projects to
demonstrate the love of Jesus through service to the local community.
All those involved with Starfish and its projects expect to work
together in a way characterised by mutual love, honour and respect. We
value people above projects and programmes and we do all we can to engender
respect and to work with love as a high value - effectively putting
others' interests above our own.
